Formation of the BeH+ and BeD+ Molecules in Be+ + H/D Collisions Through Radiative Association

Cross sections and rate coefficients for the formation of BeH + BeD molecules in Be H/D collisions through radiative association are calculated using quantum mechanical perturbation theory Breit-Wigner theory. The local thermodynamic equilibrium limit molecule is also studied, since process relevant environments with high-density and/or strong radiation fields. obtained may facilitate kinetic modelling /BeD production astrochemical as well corrosion chemistry thermonuclear fusion reactors.
